Slowly but surely, we added rows of forms until we reached the proper height. Because of the excavation, we needed a step-down footer, so we had to put down five rows of forms in the low spots and four everywhere else. Here are some pictures of Cath installing the fourth row, near the "kitchen".
Here I am installing the fourth row in the "living room". The other shot is of me bending the rebar that goes inside every other row of forms. The rebar adds strength to the house once the concrete is poured. It also takes strength from the poor sap who has to bend it...
